Beginning of summer.

June is coming to an end and so is my ESC project. This month was really exciting for me but more because of the activities I have done on my own outside the volunteering part.

In the last two months, my organisation, alongside with me, has put a lot of time and effort in organising „campamentos“ dedicated to sports and theatre and the final product sounded awesome; 2 weeks in nature with cool people while also having the opportunity to learn something to me sounded amazing, but it seems like that feeling has not been shared with other people so at the end we had to cancel the whole even because not enough people has signed up for it.

However, since Abrego didn’t want that time to go to waste and still wanted to do some outdoor activities before heading to vacations they have managed to organize trips to several organisations and smaller associations that work on rural development to get us to travel a bit through Castilla y Leon but also to learn more about interesting projects that can maybe aspire us to do something similar when we finish our volunteering and go back to our countries.
