Michela comes from Verona, in north-eastern Italy, and will be in Argonauta until March 2019.

Living and working in an area characterized by hardly sustainable mass tourism made her directly aware of the complex interrelations between socioeconomic development, safeguard of the environment and of the cultural heritage and local communities’ opportunities and demands. Therefore, she decided to study social sciences as applied to environmental issues and completed her Master degree in Management of the Environment and Territorial Networks in 2017.

Add to this a lifelong love for nature and a deep interest in different cultures and in their heritage, and you will see that Argonauta is the perfect place for her to learn how to apply what she studied and to figure out how to transform the new skills that she is gaining into a future job in which to put all her passion and concern!
