Workshop for making linen bags Murter primary school..
Staff and EVS volunteers from the Argonauta association on Friday returned briefly to the school benches. In collaboration with the Murter primary school Argonauta held a workshop for the production of canvas bags for several primary school classes. It was the third workshop for making linen bags as part of the project “View in blue” financed by INA d.d. through the Green belt program, and implemented by the Association of Argonauts in the Murter and Kornati Islands.
Kids and their teachers were happy to accept the challenge and learn how to quickly and easily make bags from old shirts. In just a few strokes from the old T-shirt, bags of different colors and sizes were born. The kids were very creative so we believe their bags will be very nice for use from small and big customers when the bags are placed in the stores in Murter. We thank the students of Murter school, teachers Ivana Skroza and Gordana Knez and librarian Martina Fantov for their hospitality and contribution in reducing the use of plastic bags in Murter.
The bags will be placed in shops in Murter in April, so you will be able to convince yourself in the creativity of our students as well as all the other participants in our workshops. For Murter without plastic bags! 🙂
