Italian lesson for Tisno’s kids.
Our volunteer, Serena from Italy, went to primary school in Tisno to meet the 8th-grade class. At the hour of Italian Serena talked to the students about Sardinia, and she spoke in her mother tongue-Italian, and for some less difficult Italian words, there was the professor of Italian Karlo Klarin.
After a brief presentation of Italy and Sardinia, the children played a game of connecting cities and symbols. At the end of the lecture, Serena taught them the traditional dance of Sardinia. The kids enjoyed this no-formal Italian lesson and they woke up from the sleepy mood of the first hour, dancing a traditional Sardinian dance. We close the presentation with a quiz game, which had been won by the team “Pasta”, of course!
Thanks to the children and we hope to meet you again!
