Presentation of the “Blue Project” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb.
On November 6th, 2018, Plavi Project, the “Blue Project”, was presented to the students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb by professors Martina Đuras and Lada Radin, in a lecture attended by about 100 people who are studying sea mammalians, marine biology and marine physiology.
The programme’s main purpose is to educate and train students to work on the development of projects in the field of marine environment protection. Plavi Projekt’s aim is to increase the number of students active in civic society by preparing and implementing socially useful programmes at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb through the cooperation between a higher education institution and civil society organizations. The students will collaborate with Argonauta’s employees and volunteers and with the Marine Educational Centre in Pula, were their main task will be to carry out their own projects in one of the mentoring programs offered.
