Blue Eco-patrol project presented at the Brodarica Elementary School.

The Argonauta Association, together with the Local Action Group “More 249”, has started presenting the Blue Eco-Patrol project in selected schools. Thus, the project was presented today to the Brodarica Elementary School, where teachers, representatives of CSOs and LSGs had the opportunity to hear more about project goals, target groups, project activities and the benefits that the project brings.

The presentation aimed to present the Blue Eco-patrol project, but also to stimulate interest in the engagement of a local coordinator who will be the head of the Eco-patrol at the Brodarica Elementary School. As the Argonauta Association has a lot of experience in the implementation of the Murter Eco-Patrol, the gathered heard the first-hand experience and thus gained a better insight into the engagement of the local coordinator.

After the project is presented to all involved schools (seven of them), in mid-September 2019, a “Call for Engagement for the Local Blue Eco-Patrol Coordinator” will be announced, employing 7 local coordinators. The selected participants will educate on sustainable development and non-formal learning methods through 3 two-day weekend seminars, and the very beginning of the pilot implementation of the Blue Eco-Patrol training program is scheduled for in January 2020.
