We attended the second project meeting of the “SEA-sustainability” project.
Argonauta is a partner in the SEA-sustainability project, which is run by the local action group on fisheries ‘Seagull’. The partners in the project are the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries and the Tourism Hospitality School Šibenik, which hosted the second project meeting held on 16.10.2019.
We started the meeting with a look at the educational and informational play on sustainable development of fisheries and gastronomy “Seafood Rebellion”, which took place in Murter last Sunday, and continued with the agreement for the activities that follow. Project SEA-sustainability will provide a sustainable development training program for the chef, waiter and hotel-tourism technician of the Šibenik Tourism and Hospitality School. Study visits and workshops in the fisheries and hospitality sectors will be organized for the aforementioned directions, with an emphasis on fish gastronomy. IZOR scientists will share their expertise with the students as early as next month when the first study visit will take place in Tribunj.
We thank the hosts and the students for their hospitality and look forward to the further collaboration and activities the project brings.
