Opportunity – education for young unemployed islanders.

Datum objave: 31. October, 2019.

The YENESIS project (http://yenesis.eu/) has reached the stage of seeking 12 young unemployed people residing in one of the Croatian islands who would like to participate in an educational process that will help them find or create their jobs.

The YENESIS project aims to help young people, not in employment, education or training (NEET) and living on the islands find employment through green jobs in the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility and tourism. The project will guide selected participants (12 from the Croatian islands) through a process that will provide them with the skills they need to enter the green jobs market. Those are:

  • one week educational course on four areas of sustainability and business innovation,
  • a five-day trip to Norway according to your chosen area of interest,
  • one month of paid internships in one of the partner islands (Cyprus, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Estonia, Greece),
  • 6 months of local practice on your island in Croatia.

All costs associated with the above activities are 100% covered by the project and there are no associated costs for users.

The YENESIS project focuses mainly on young professionals aged 25 to 29 who are not in the employment, education or training fields and live in the islands (the project allows some flexibility in the above criteria).

If all of the above sounds interesting, please fill out the application form or send your CV to nikola.matak@fsb.hr to show your interest.

Join YENESIS and get ready to change your life while changing the world !!
