SAIL project’s introductory lecture.
On Tuesday, July 14th, 2020, an introductory lecture on the SAIL project was held at Uvala Čigrađa, Beach Bar Lantana, Murter.
The occasion for this event was the project “SAIL – Adriatic cross-sectoral educational and social center for sustainable development of the island” presentation to the public , which officially began on May 29th, 2020, and will last until May 29th, 2022, or 24 months, for a total amount of HRK 1,999,243.34 in grants co-financed by the European Union, from the European Social Fund (85%) and the Republic of Croatia from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia (15%).
The holder of this project is the Association for the Protection of Nature and the Environment and the Promotion of Sustainable Development of Argonauta. The project partners are the Municipality of Murter-Kornati, the Cultural and Artistic Association Zaokret, the Branch of Matica hrvatska in Murter, the Association for the Promotion of the Value of the Wooden Ship and Traditional Navigation Latinsko idro, the Cluster for Eco-Social Innovation and Development CEDRA Split, and the University of Zadar. The collaborators of the project are the Carnival Association of Murter Grandmothers and the Association of Amateurs Drama Murter.
The event was attended by representatives of all these organizations, which we used as an opportunity for additional networking and synergistic contribution to the quality of life in our municipality through the JEDRO project.
