Datum objave: 14. May, 2021.

On Thursday, May 13, 2021, the Social Center Jedro in Murter was officially opened in the building of the Municipality of Murter Kornati, at the address Butina 2, 2nd floor. This social center in Murter is the result of the implementation of a project financed from the European Social Fund (85%) and grants provided from the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia (15%) with a total value of HRK 1,999,243.34.

It puts the function of hitherto unused public space owned by the Municipality of Murter Kornati in which more than 350,000.00 kn has been invested, and which expands the range of services of general interest to the local community. In addition, preconditions are being created for sustainable social and development work in accordance with the needs of today.

The vision of the Sail Community Center is, among other things, to become a coworking center that will be presented through international channels of coworking centers in the world.

Also, as part of the project, a system of space use administration will be established in the community center; instructions, a description of the services offered and a rulebook on the use of coworking space, a system of records and monitoring the use of space and equipment will be prepared.

Due to the epidemiological situation, the number of guests was limited to representatives of partners and project associates, but we hope that very soon we will receive and host all those interested in the constructive use of this space for the benefit of the entire local community.
