Eco Murter 2021..
On the International Day for Biological Diversity and the Day of Nature Protection in the Republic of Croatia on May 22, 2021, the event Eco Murter 2021 was held. -conductor and division of sponge loofah seeds.
At the initiative of TZO Murter – Kornati, and in order to popularize sustainable practices, promote local products, and nature protection, an all-morning gathering was organized on Rudina Square where passers-by and visitors could buy some local products, see Eco-guide or make their own eco-bag from old T-shirts. Our employee Sanja and volunteer Eleonora did their best to bring a smile to the faces of passers-by by giving them eco-bags that until 10 minutes ago were ordinary, old T-shirts and taught them the importance of reducing, repurposing, and protecting the environment.
On the other hand, in Hramina Bay, the rest of the Argonaut team helped divers clean up the seabed where large amounts of waste had accumulated. There were carts from the store, various baskets, car tires, bottles … and on all that waste, sea dwellers found their new home! However, we carefully returned the marine species to the sea and took the waste there and it deserves to be – in a landfill, not in the sea!
The ecological action was organized by our local diving club RK Murter Kornati, and their help was provided by:

As the Association for the Protection of Nature and the Environment and the Promotion of Sustainable Development of Argonauts, we are extremely pleased to be able to mark the International Day for Biological Diversity and the Day of Nature Protection in the Republic of Croatia… in the company of people who share the same values. and these are the love of nature and our favorite sea.
