MEETING / WORKSHOP DESIGNING POSSIBILITIES OF COOPERATION ON BETTER USE OF PUBLIC OWNED SPACE IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MURTER KORNATI – AMPHORARIUM.

Within the project “SAIL – Adriatic cross-sectoral educational and social center for sustainable development of the island”, we held the last meeting on the topic of public space in the OMK – Amphorarium.

The aim of these meetings was to gather ideas, proposals, and expressions of interest, needs, and opportunities for cooperation in better use of valuable public spaces in the Municipality of Murter Kornati. The basic intention is to activate these public resources to improve the quality of life, but also to develop new social, economic, cultural, educational, environmental, and other activities and projects that can help provide answers and increase resilience to current challenges and crises.

At this meeting, we heard the thoughts, needs, and ideas of local stakeholders, which we informed about the opportunities and benefits that may arise from active involvement in terms of preparation and application of new joint and individual programs, projects, and activities. / or announced EU tenders.

The meeting was held on Wednesday, June 9 at the Social Center Jedro, and included a brief introduction to the Amphorarium project, a presentation of the art exhibition Amphorarium led by the architectural studio Invictus d.o.o.

After the presentation, focus groups were held on stakeholder groups (caterers, diving clubs…) important for the Amphorarium public space.
