FOURTH “EKO SRIJEDA”.
The 4th meeting of our “EKO-SRIJEDA” workshops series featured winds. Our children already knew a few names of winds (like Tramontana, Jugo, and Bura), but today they also learned how these air currents are formed and enjoyed guessing with Suzana which were considered hot and which cold. In addition, Costanza showed them the compass rose, explaining where the winds come from and the importance that this has for sailors.
After the explanation, the kids let their creativity run wild, crafting beautiful windcatchers. They used some wooden sticks, strings, and tempera paint to make and decorate their creations. Check the gallery to see the result!
We thanks every single little participant of today and we hope to see you the next Wednesday!
