Colentum workshop.
Many know that the ancient Romans had a great empire, but not everyone knows that they also left remains in Murter and more precisely in the Colentum archaeological park! So on 19.08., on the occasion of the “Colentum night” which will be held tomorrow evening, we organized a workshop to introduce some children to this magnificent place and the history behind it.
Under the shade of the pines and close to the beach, Suzana talked about ancient Rome, the warriors, and the armor they wore. But above all, we let the children have fun creating their roman helmets using a few simple materials: folded sheets of paper, glue, and colors! Each child has decorated his helmet using their imagination and has assembled the various pieces following the instructions of Costanza step by step. In the end, the kids enjoyed wearing their creations to take some pictures with the Colentum frame!
We thank all the participants and we look forward to seeing you again tomorrow evening for more games and fun!
