Argonauta part of the Green Forum network.
November 7 and 8, 2022. ZAGREB – A representative of the Argonauta association participated in the annual Assembly of the national network of environmental associations Zeleni Forum, of which the Argonauta association is an active member.
The goals of this network are to influence the creation and implementation of environmental protection and nature conservation policies in the Republic of Croatia, as well as to create a permanent platform for cooperation and the environment of citizens’ associations and other active civil society environmental actors.
The methods used to achieve the goals of the network are:
- public advocacy
- initiation and coordination of joint campaigns, actions and projects
- informing, educating and encouraging the public to participate in the decision-making process
- strengthening the capacity of citizens’ associations for environmental protection, strengthening their skills, human resources, technical infrastructure and influence at the national and international level.
And the activities are as follows:
- influence on the creation and implementation of environmental protection and nature conservation policies in the Republic of Croatia
- initiation and coordination of joint campaigns, actions and projects
- informing, educating and encouraging the public to participate in the decision-making process
- strengthening the capacity of citizens’ associations for environmental protection, strengthening their skills, human resources, technical infrastructure, and influence at the national and international levels.
