Conference „BENEFITS OF INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERS FOR YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY“.

On Wednesday, December 14, in Sisak, we participated in the conference “Benefits of International Volunteers for your Local Community” organized by the association IKS from Petrinja.

The conference was intended for all organizations that work with international volunteers or plan to do so in the future, and want to raise the quality of work and support they provide to volunteers. At the conference, two tools were presented that were developed through the project, the Manual for coordinating international volunteers and the online platform “Essential toolbox for volunteers” intended to provide all the information that international volunteers need when they come on mobility.

Given that our association receives and sends international volunteers, this conference was extremely useful for us because of the exchange of experiences and knowledge on the subject of international volunteers in local communities.
