DISCOVER ARABIC CULTURE – ARABIC SCRIPTURE (1).
On Wednesday, February 8, our volunteer Sarah held an Arabic script lesson where everyone interested could learn something about the history of the Arabic language, its dialects, and its peculiarities.
However, we spent most of our time with the Arabic alphabet and trying to write some words in the Arabic script. What is special about Arabic is that it is written from right to left, and the most challenging thing was to join the letters according to the exact rules.
It was certainly interesting to get acquainted with a new skill, but since the Arabic script is a really complex topic, we decided to have another get-together where the topic will be this interesting script again.
So we are scheduling the next gathering again for Wednesday, February 15. at 18:00 in the Jedro Social Center!
See you!
