BEGINNING OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE UNDERWATER CLEANING ACTION ON VRGADA.

On Friday, March 17, 2023, we held a meeting in the town hall in the building of the Municipality of Pakoštane together with all stakeholders to agree on all the details of the organization of the underwater cleanup of the island of Vrgada, which will be held as part of the project Eco flow to the island financed from the Fund for environmental protection and energy efficiency.

The meeting was attended by representatives of local organizations and institutions who welcomed the idea of cleaning Vrgada with open arms, and we jointly defined the date in May as well as the roles that everyone will play in the planned cleaning action.

For our Association, this was the first contact with the community in Pakoštane Municipality, and we are glad that we started our cooperation with the plan to clean up the island of Vrgada, and we believe that this is only the first in a series of joint actions and projects that will follow us in the future.
