THE FIRST WEEKEND SEMINAR WAS HELD AS PART OF THE “EMULZIJA 2 – YOUTH ENERGY IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY” PROJECT.

The last year of the project eMUlzija – the energy of young people in the local community brought a lot of beautiful memories but also achieved results – both for young people and for their local communities! This year we decided to continue, so we would like to thank the donor – the Central State Office for Demography and Youth, who made it possible for us to do so.

The first step in the implementation of the eMUlzija 2 project was a weekend seminar in the Dalmatian hinterland, more precisely in the Eco Campus “Krka” in Puljani, which took place from March 17 to 19, 2023. The weekend seminar was conceived as an informal education for young people aged 15 to 20. years from the area of two municipalities; Murter-Kornati and Promina. During Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, young people were informed about the projects; what a project is, how to recognize opportunities in your local community, how to dispose of a budget, and what to pay attention to when choosing an idea that we want to realize.

A visit to Burnum and Manojlovački waterfalls served as an additional burst of inspiration. A natural walk, referring to historical events, brought smiles and revealed their curious side!

The weekend seminar ended with nice messages, and as a result of the work we got the outlines of two projects that we will further announce at the second-weekend seminar, with the same young people in early June in Murter. There, they will have the opportunity to “sharpen” their projects, after which they will start implementing them. We are very much looking forward to seeing the final results!

We would like to thank Eco Campus “Krka” again for its hospitality and relaxed atmosphere. We felt at home, and that’s a big thing 🙂
