THE YOUTH EXCHANGE IS APPROACHING “LOOKING BACK-MOVING FORWARD! INNER INSIGHT”.

The LBMF project got its continuation! This year, we are organizing a youth exchange called “Looking back-moving forward!” Inner insight“, which will be held in Murter, from April 11 to 19. We will gather 44 participants from 6 different countries in one place, namely Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Turkey, Italy, and Spain.

It is a project that offers young people the opportunity to learn from history in a creative and fun way, using informal methods, so through various activities and workshops they learn how to think critically and draw conclusions independently. The main mission is to encourage tolerance and prevent hate speech, which is a consequence of war events in the countries mentioned above.

The plan is to revive the idea of cooperation with the participants, to share the testimonies of the generations that were in the war, but also to talk about the “small” things that kept them positive at that time, and to use empathy as a key tool for learning history.

The project was financed by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs.
