WEEKEND SEMINAR IN MURTER, AS PART OF THE EMULSION 2 PROJECT – CHECKED!.

The weekend from June 9 to 11 marked the second weekend seminar for us and our participants of the *eMUlzija 2 project – youth energy in the local community, but this time in Murter.

As in the first weekend seminar that took place in March, in the Eco campus of Krka, this one was attended by the same young people aged 15 to 20, from the areas of Murter and Promina.

In March, these young people, through informal methods, came up with ideas of what they could do in their local community, with the expert mentoring of us – the Argonauts association 🙂

A decision has been made in Murter! Each team has its own idea and the implementation starts as soon as school ends and all the obligations that go with it.

Murterini will offer their place a deck chair on Raduč hill with a view of the divine Kornati, while the team from Promina turned to the birds, offering them a place to land and feed, and they will educate the children on exactly these topics!

The “eMUlzija 2” project provided the teams with a certain budget for the implementation of their ideas.

Also, at this weekend seminar, participants had the opportunity to hear about the European Solidarity Corps program as well as volunteering opportunities. Our volunteers – Sarah from Jordan and Rose from France – shared their experience.

But that’s not all… Ana Vodopija from the partner association Drama Amateurs Murter held a drama workshop where young people got to know the world of theater. What is behind a play and do we know how to read? – are just some of the questions they received answers to. They were given the chance to try their hand at acting, so we laughed and had fun!

We all enjoyed it, and we can’t wait for the ideas to become work! We will laugh even more! Of happiness and pride, of course 😀
