10. INA’S GREEN BELT.

On June 14, 2023, in the capital of Lijepa naše, we received an award as one of 15 selected projects within the 10th INA Green Belt.

Through this program, INA co-finances ecological projects such as afforestation, landscaping, cleaning of the sea, coastline, lakes and rivers, education on ecology and other similar activities in the field of environmental, nature and climate protection. INA’s Green Belt program was included in the 2018 Global Report on Sustainable Development as an example of good practice. It is recognized as a program that directly contributes to the preservation of life on Earth, one of the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

Our project called “Children plants more – one step lower” was selected, and it refers to the greening of the island of Murter with 214 tree seedlings and the education of the local community with the aim of raising awareness about the problem of climate change.

We congratulate the other organizations, and we thank the donor for recognizing us and enabling Murter to become even greener 🙂
