ADVENT IN JEDRO.
Advent is in full swing, and on Saturday, December 9, 2023, the Christmas magic took over Jedro again!
Volunteers Romina and Juliette showed their creativity once again through the workshop of making Christmas trees from old newspapers and magazines. Creative, right? The children played criss-cross in which bangs shaped into a wreath represented a circle, and a star made of cardboard and decorated with fringes acted as a cross. The children proudly brought home beautiful creations, and we hope that the parents were as delighted as we were.
See part of the happy atmosphere in the gallery below.
Next Saturday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. will also be our last Christmas workshop, so join us!
*The European Solidarity Corps (ESS) is a program of the European Union to strengthen solidarity in various areas: from helping disadvantaged people and providing humanitarian aid to engagement for health and the environment in the EU and beyond.
The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.
Volunteers from the European Solidarity Forces program took part in the activity.
