Today, January 24, 2024, children from the kindergarten group “Školjkica” – district facility in Betina, as part of the kindergarten “Spužvica” – Tisno, came to visit us for a special reason. Favorite Eco Wednesdays are with you again in 2024!!! 🌏

As part of the project “Kornati – it is important to know about the sea 8”, the word of the day for the first workshop was BIODIVERSITY. Through fun games, the children learned about the different species that live on planet earth, the difference between the living and non-living world, and what living organisms need to survive. The workshop is rounded off by coloring and drawing different living creatures, and a game of imitating the animal world.

The little ones learned a new word and showed their imagination, creativity and knowledge in recognizing various plant and animal species. 🌱

*The project is financed by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia

*The European Solidarity Corps (ESS) is a program of the European Union to strengthen solidarity in various areas: from helping disadvantaged people and providing humanitarian aid to engagement for health and the environment in the EU and beyond.

The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.

Volunteers from the European Solidarity Forces program took part in the activity.
