SECOND WORKSHOP OF THE PROJECT “LET’S TURN THE CIRCLE OF CHANGE III”.

Datum objave: 29. January, 2024.

As part of the project Let’s turn the circle of changes III, which is carried out by the LAG “More 249”, in which Argonauta acts as a partner, we also held a second workshop that took place at the Pirovac Elementary School for students from the 4th to the 6th grade. A total of 19 students took advantage of Saturday 27.1. in order to gather new knowledge about nature protection, decomposition of different materials and recycling.

The workshop started with the World of Materials, where students honed teamwork skills and created a relaxed atmosphere for the upcoming activities, but at the same time learned about the materials around us such as plastic, metal and wood. This activity encouraged thinking about the nature of materials and their durability, which was directly applied in the next activity Lifetime. The students were divided into 5 groups of 4 participants with the task of researching and showing the decomposition of various materials. Through this activity, they practiced researching information, teamwork and creative expression.

Owls and crows was the last activity where correct or incorrect answers to questions about recycling, decomposition and waste facts determine who hunts whom, the students showed an exceptional desire to give the correct answer and used the skill of critical thinking.

In addition to the short task of researching the time of decomposition of everyday things in our life, we also finished this workshop, and see how it all went in the gallery!
