HABLAS ESPAÑOL?.
Yesterday, through the winter program “Winter full of life”, we held a Spanish language course!
Our ESC volunteer Romina from Spain passed on knowledge of her language through entertainment. First we learned each letter of their alphabet, then we learned greetings like “Buenos Dias!” and “Adios”. We also had to practice communicating with others, so they wished each other a good day or good night, and then we moved on to the numbers from 1 to 10. Colors are also an indispensable part of the initial course, and then words that serve to orient us, such as “izquierdo ” which means left or “arriba”, i.e. up.
In the end, we repeated everything learned through a dance game, during which all participants showed enviable knowledge and memory.
Various activities are still coming, but first take a look at how the Spanish course went!
The European Solidarity Corps (ESS) is a program of the European Union to strengthen solidarity in various areas: from helping the disadvantaged and providing humanitarian aid to engagement for health and the environment in the EU and beyond.
The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.
Volunteers from the European Solidarity Forces program took part in the activity.
