STOP PLASTIC IN THE SEA!.
The second Eco-Wednesday as part of the project “Kornati – it is important to know about the sea 8” dealt with the diverse living and non-living species that live in the sea, as well as the plastic that threatens it.
Children from the kindergarten group “Školjkica” – regional facility in Betina, part of the Kindergarten “Spužvica” – Tisno first discovered the residents of the sea, such as fish and shellfish, but they also came across some things that destroy their habitat, such as plastic bottles and bags. The children had the task of sorting out what belongs in the sea and what threatens it. 🐠🦞🐚🪸
After discovering what is hidden in the depths of the sea, the children had to estimate how long it takes each type of waste that can be found in the sea to decompose, and they were very successful in this.
We ended the workshop with a game of save the seahorse and dolphin, where they saved endangered species by making good decisions for the environment. As a reward for their excellent work and acquired knowledge, they received medals with which we send a message to save marine animals! 🐟🐳🐙🦀

The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.
