PRESENTATION OF FRENCH CULTURE IN MURTERSKI ŠKOJA PRIMARY SCHOOL..
On Friday, February 2, our ESC volunteer Juliette had the opportunity to introduce the students of Murterski Škoki Elementary School to French culture. From gastronomic delicacies to famous people, Juliette presented interesting facts about her homeland in an interactive way. Through the principle of quizzes, students competed to have more correct answers to questions about French culture, while learning the basics of language and pronunciation.
The students learned interesting facts about the European jewel and thus enriched their knowledge, but also made them aware of the differences between various cultures on European soil.
*The European Solidarity Corps (ESS) is a program of the European Union to strengthen solidarity in various areas: from helping disadvantaged people and providing humanitarian aid to engagement for health and the environment in the EU and beyond.
The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.
Volunteers from the European Solidarity Forces program took part in the activity.
