DO YOU SPEAK FRENCH?.
As part of our “Winter full of life” program, we held another foreign language course yesterday, this time in French. Given that our long-term ESC volunteer Juliette comes from France, she gladly designed a creative workshop where the participants managed to learn the basics of this beautiful language.
The workshop started with basics that can be useful to all of us, such as greetings and introducing yourself. Then we learned the numbers from 1 to 10, which really presented a challenge to all of us, but with a little effort we managed to perfect it. We ended the workshop with number bingo in French and fun games.
Next week we have an afternoon of board games you don’t want to miss!
The European Solidarity Corps (ESS) is a program of the European Union to strengthen solidarity in various areas: from helping the disadvantaged and providing humanitarian aid to engagement for health and the environment in the EU and beyond.
The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.
Volunteers from the European Solidarity Forces program took part in the activity
