WE STARTED TESTING THE NEW “ECO PATROL” MANUAL IN ŠIBENIK.
On Friday, February 16, we started testing the new “Eco Patrol” manual, which we designed together with international partners from Italy, Hungary, Serbia and North Macedonia. The manual covers 8 environmental topics that will be discussed with young people aged 14 to 18 through informal learning methods. Currently, tests are being conducted in all 5 partner countries, including in Croatia, that is, in Šibenik, at the Antun Vrančić Gymnasium, conducted by Argonaut’s long-time colleague Josip Biluš, biology professor. The first topic that was discussed and tested with 20 eco-patrol officers was Eco-literacy, a module designed and created by Argonaut.
Next on the schedule is Module 2 with the topic “Biodiversity and eco systems” on Friday, March 1.
These tests are carried out through the project “Eco Patrols 4 Environmental Goals” financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program.
