THE PROMIN TEAM OF “RURAL RAPSODIJA” STARTS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ITS PROJECT.

On May 2, 2024, a cycle of educational workshops was held with a team of young people from the municipality of Promina as part of the project “Rural Rhapsody – young people in the rhythm of togetherness”.

A team of young people from the area of Promina through April 2024. designed and presented an innovative ecological idea. The idea contributes to the education of children of kindergarten age and their parents about the importance of preserving the environment, reusing toys, but also humanity and spending more time outdoors.

Before the actual realization of the project idea, the young people went through a cycle of education on the topics: Creative thinking, Project cycle and Budgeting. The educations contributed to the successful implementation of their idea, but they expanded their knowledge for writing and implementing future projects. The workshops were conducted under expert guidance and with the help of informal methods, which brought this perhaps demanding topic closer to young people in an accessible way.

With this cycle of workshops for young people, on whom the world remains, we have enabled them to really realize their ideas.

*The goal of the “Rural Rhapsody” project is to empower young people from the local community to actively work in their own rural community and take on the role of initiators and organizers of cultural, entertainment and other content through the preparation and implementation of their own projects. This project is an opportunity for the young population of rural areas to acquire knowledge and skills in an alternative way, different from the one normally offered in their environment.
