TESTING OF THE EIGHTH MODULE OF THE NEW ECO PATROL MANUAL.
On Saturday, May 18, the eighth module of the new Eco Patrol manual was tested. The testing took place during the award trip to Kornati National Park. The reason we chose this particular module, focused on Eco-activism, was primarily technical: it required the least amount of material for implementation, which was important since we conducted the test aboard the vessel.
This module also covers strategies for creating environmental protection campaigns, and during the testing, some engaging and activist-style reels were created by high school students who are part of the Eco Patrol. We invite you to view these reels on Argonaut’s Instagram profile.
The new Eco Patrol manual was designed in collaboration with our international partners from Italy, Hungary, Serbia, and North Macedonia. The manual covers 8 environmental topics, which are addressed with young people aged 14 to 18 through informal learning methods. Currently, testing is taking place in all 5 partner countries, including Croatia, where the tests are being conducted by Argonauta’s long-time collaborator, Josipa Biluš, a biology professor. The eighth module, which was tested with 20 eco-patrol officers, is titled “Environmental Activism” and was created by the Kreator organization from North Macedonia.
Next on the schedule is Module 6, focused on “Water”.
These tests are part of the “Eco Patrols 4 Environmental Goals” project, funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program.
