PROMINE YOUNG PEOPLE FOR PROMINE CHILDREN.
As part of the project “Rural Rhapsody – young people in the rhythm of togetherness”, a team of young people from the area of Promina through April 2024. conceived and, with the support of a mentor, successfully realized an innovative, sustainable ecological idea.
The idea contributes to the education of children of kindergarten age and their parents about the importance of preserving the environment, reusing toys, but also humanity and spending more time outdoors. The most important activity of the idea is the installation of an Eco house for toys with the inscription: TAKE, RETURN, DONATE, PLAY, KEEP, and a pencil-shaped bench in front of the kindergarten in Promina.
Eco Toy House works on the principle of free exchange, toys can be taken, returned, donated. In this way, it is possible to exchange, borrow and donate toys, which should reduce the amount of toys that end up in waste. Parents can save on buying new toys. Therefore, we hereby invite the citizens, especially the parents of Promina, to use the Eko house for toys and, if possible, donate toys there.
Well done to the young people who came up with the idea and implemented it!
*The goal of the “Rural Rhapsody” project is to empower young people from the local community to actively work in their own rural community and take on the role of initiators and organizers of cultural, entertainment and other content through the preparation and implementation of their own projects. This project is an opportunity for the young population of rural areas to acquire knowledge and skills in an alternative way, different from the one normally offered in their environment.
*The project is financed by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth through financial support from
