TESTING OF THE SIXTH MODULE OF THE NEW ECO PATROL MANUAL.
On Thursday, June 20, 2024, the sixth module of the new manual, which we designed together with international partners from Italy, Hungary, Serbia and North Macedonia, was tested.
The topic that was discussed and tested with 20 eco patrollers was “Water”, a module designed and created by a partner organization from Italy.
Thus, on Thursday, the testing of all eight modules covering 8 environmental topics was completed. These modules are designed to be implemented with young people aged 14 to 18, and are processed through informal learning methods. Testing is currently being conducted (and completed) in all 5 partner countries; Italy, Hungary, Macedonia and Serbia. Our tests were held in Šibenik, at the Antun Vrančić Gymnasium, and were conducted by Argonauta’s longtime colleague Josipa Biluš, a biology professor.
These tests are followed by preparations for the printing of the manual, which will be available free of charge to all interested parties in six languages - English, Croatian, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian and Serbian. This will make available to teachers, professors and everyone who works with young people a tool for processing and teaching about environmental topics in an interesting, fun and experiential way.
These tests are carried out through the project “Eco Patrols 4 Environmental Goals” financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ program.
