Today, July 10, we held another Eco-Wednesday workshop, and this time we devoted the activities to marine conservation. 🐚

In the beautiful surroundings of the Čigrađe bay at the Lantana beach bar, the children discovered the residents of the sea, but they were stopped by the accumulated waste, which has more than animals. After they found everything that was found, the task was to classify everything they found according to whether it belongs to the sea or threatens it. 🐠

Then we had an activity to save the seahorse and the sunfish, where they made good decisions for the environment and saved endangered species from the sea box. As a reward for their excellent work and acquired knowledge, they received medals with which we send a message to save marine animals! 🐟🐳🐙🦀

In the gallery, see a part of what we did, and we’ll see you at the same place next Wednesday!

*Workshops are conducted as part of the “Eco-Wednesdays – educational program for children” project. The project is financed by the Šibenik-Knin County.

*The European Solidarity Corps (ESS) is a program of the European Union to strengthen solidarity in various areas: from helping disadvantaged people and providing humanitarian aid to engagement for health and the environment in the EU and beyond.

The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to the needs of the community, make a concrete contribution to society, and in the process gain invaluable experience and develop new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that want to involve young people in their activities.

Volunteers from the European Solidarity Forces program took part in the activity.
