Little hands, big changes: No more plastic in the sea.

On Friday, July 26, Dobropoljana beach in Pašman was filled with laughter and learning with our children’s workshop focused on raising awareness about plastic in the sea. A workshop full of fun and educational activities, thanks to Udruga Argonauta’s European Solidarity Corps volunteers. 🐟🦀🐚

Our workshop began with an activity in which they had to fish in the ocean, this activity aroused the curiosity of the little ones, what a surprise, instead of fish, some found plastic bags and bottles. This unexpected finding led them to reflect on the worrying situation of our oceans, affected by human pollution. 🚣‍♀️🌊

After this revealing experience, the participants understood the urgency of protecting our seas. Divided into teams, they embarked on an exciting game to save seahorses and sea cucumbers. By making wise environmental decisions, they demonstrated that even the smallest can make a big difference.

The day culminated in a dynamic final game. Three teams – good citizens, endangered animals and pollution – competed in an activity that was not only fun, but also educational. The children learned that each of us has a crucial role to play in preserving the environment.

To top it all off, all participants received a diploma in recognition of their enthusiasm and commitment. 😊🤩✨
