SOLAR ENERGY AND HOW TO USE IT.

Nothing can spoil our mood while the sun is shining, and we explored how much the sun means to us at this week’s Eco-Wednesday dedicated to solar energy and how we can use it. 🌞💥

At the Lantana beach bar in the bay of Čigrađa, we held a fun and educational workshop where children had the opportunity to make their own solar oven!!! Sounds like fun, right?

First, we examined the children’s knowledge about the sun and what we can do with the energy it radiates, and then we set about making our own solar oven from simple materials: a cardboard pizza box, aluminum and plastic foil, and black paper. It’s that simple! After a little effort and time, the ovens were ready for use. We put our chocolate chip cookies to bake, and during that time the children were on a treasure hunt solving various challenges with the help of clues they found in their surroundings. ☀️✨

Let the children enjoy the cookies they baked in their own oven, and we will hang out again next Wednesday at the same place and at the same time!🔥🌞
