A meeting of the project partners of the project “From plans to reality – a renewable chance for future” was held in Murter..

On Thursday, September 26, 2024. a project meeting of the project From plans to reality – renewable chance for future was held in the Jedro Community Center in Murter.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the organizations Solarní asociace, z.s. (Czech Republic), Svaz moderne energetiky, z.s. (SME) (Czech Republic), Slovenská asociácia fotovoltického indústvo a OZE (SAPI) (Slovakia) and representatives of Argonauta, Ivona Jadrić and Suzana Suman with the support of Ivan Duilo from the DOOR organization.

The meeting discussed the activities that have been carried out since the beginning of the project and the next steps and activities that need to be well planned in order to be as successful as possible in all three partner countries.

As a reminder, the project From plans to reality – renewable chance for future is an international project that started in December 2023 and will last for two years. Green scenarios and expert studies that will be created by this project in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Croatia and that will assess the potential and effect of more ambitious decarbonization goals, will enable relevant stakeholders in the three mentioned countries to negotiate relevant updates of the NECPs.

Furthermore, analyzes of obstacles to meeting more ambitious goals and recommendations for overcoming them will also be created by this project and will facilitate the wider application and further development of renewable energy.

In addition to all of the above, this project will encourage the participation of stakeholders as well as the awareness of local, regional and national public institutions, experts, civil society and the general public about this topic.

This project is part of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).
