Awarding Certificates of Appreciation for Valuable Youth Initiatives.
On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, a ceremonial awards event was held to honor the young people who participated in the “Rural Rhapsody – Youth in the Rhythm of Community” project.
Three project teams diligently educated themselves, planned, and ultimately implemented their project initiatives. To thank them for their participation and highlight their contributions to their rural local communities, we organized a dinner where the young innovators had the chance to meet each other, share their experiences from the project, and be encouraged to come up with new ideas they would like to contribute to their local communities.
We are extremely happy with the results the youth have brought, and we hope to continue hearing about these young people and their initiatives in the future!
The goal of the “Rural Rhapsody” project is to empower young people from the local community to actively engage in their own rural communities and take on the role of initiators and organizers of cultural, entertainment, and other activities by preparing and implementing their own projects. This project offers an opportunity for the young population of rural areas to acquire knowledge and skills in an alternative way, different from what is typically offered in their communities.
The project is funded by the Central State Office for Demography and Youth through financial support from the available funds from lottery revenues and the State Budget for 2023.
