Christmas Magic with the Little Ones of Murter.
On Tuesday and Friday, December 10th and 13th, we visited the little ones at the Murter kindergarten, bringing the Christmas spirit through creative workshops focused on making gifts!
The children had the opportunity to create unique presents for their loved ones, of course, eco-friendly and made from recycled materials in the Argonauta style. Using old cardboard boxes, the children crafted picture frames that, along with a photo we developed, will be given as Christmas gifts to their close ones. The workshop also included a musical component, where the little ones mimicked emotions through various songs, and we played and sang Christmas carols with the help of various percussion instruments, testing their skills in keeping rhythm and feeling the music.
We are very happy to have brought the Christmas magic to our youngest community members, and we are sure that through these personalized gifts, they will continue to spread the holiday spirit throughout Murter!
*The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is a European Union program aimed at strengthening solidarity in various fields: from helping those in need and providing humanitarian aid to engaging in health and environmental efforts within the EU and beyond.
The program offers young people the opportunity to respond to community needs, make a tangible contribution to society, and gain invaluable experience while developing new skills. The program is also intended for organizations active in the field of solidarity that wish to involve young people in their activities.
The activity involved volunteers from the European Solidarity Corps program.
