“ECO PATROL” PODCAST.
GOALS: With this show, we want to act on the problem of lack of information and lack of education of target groups about the civil right to a healthy and preserved environment, which is one of the basic human rights guaranteed by the Constitution and other laws of the Republic of Croatia and the EU, as well as international conventions. Citizens do not know their civil rights related to the protection of nature and the environment, they do not know in which legal and effective ways they can act to achieve them. By broadcasting this show, through information, promotion and education, we raise awareness and build competencies (knowledge, skills and attitudes) of citizens/public that lead to responsible behavior of individuals and communities towards sustainable use of natural resources, preservation of biological diversity and protection of nature and the environment. With this show, we want to discuss the constitutional civil right to a healthy and preserved environment and thereby contribute to and support fundamental human rights and the public interest.
