EVS: SEA IS LIFE 7.
Since 2011, the Argonauta has been conducting activities within the European Voluntary Service (EVS). “Sea is Life 7” is the name of a long-term EVS service conducted by the Argonauta association with partners from European countries, which is the seventh continuation of previously successfully implemented projects “Sea is Life 1-6”.
The seventh edition of the project Sea is Life will be implemented with the help of two volunteers (1 from Bulgaria and 1 from Italy) for 12 months. The main objective of the project is to raise the importance of sustainable development and the untapped potential of the local community and the development of the Education Center for Sustainable Island and Coast Development. Volunteers will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Education Center in the summer season, create educational and creative workshops for children, assist in promotional and administrative work in the organization, assist in the preparation and implementation of youth exchanges, local volunteer actions and develop their project.
This volunteer service will bring Erasmus + opportunities closer to the local community, allow young people in the local community to reach out to young people from different EU countries and encourage the creation of active EU citizenship.
The Sea is Life project promotes multilingualism, tolerance, care for the environment, highlights the benefits of participating in Erasmus + projects and helps volunteers develop their personal and professional qualities. This project encourages the development of personal competences and focuses volunteers on harnessing their talents, all intending to find employment after volunteering.
