Silvia Ros – Italy.
Since she was a child, Silvia had a strong passion for Humanities and adventures. It is not surprising that after a Licence in History and a Master degree in Philosophy she decided to leave Italy, her homeland, and start a backpack trip in&outside Europe which is not still ended – may it will ever be?! -.
Travel, meet new cultures and people, volunteer and face different daily-life topics, opened her horizons and increased her awareness on social and environmental issues. Between an internship in Urban Agriculture in France and an intensive German course in Berlin, she applied for many EVS projects and finally, she has been chosen by Argonauta for the project Sea is life 8 in Murter. This project is a good chance for her to see more closely how an NGO works, to acquire more skills useful for her working life and to do something concrete for the environment, both the natural – the Mediterranean sea – and the cultural one – Murter local heritage -.
