- MUSIC FOR MENTAL HEALTH
- Izdavač
The e-booklet was created as part of the “Music for Mental Health” youth exchange that took place in Šibenik from October 3 to 11, 2024, where we gathered 34 young people from Croatia, Portugal, North Macedonia, Turkey, Greece and Spain to inspired others with methods to improve their own well-being and consequently shared them in their local communities. The focus of the exchange was music as a means of dealing with mental health. We want to continue raising their awareness of the current state of mental health in their communities, as well as strengthening their emotional state. In this way, we encourage social engagement and active participation of young people in local communities.
With one click, find out everything we did at the exchange, which methods we used and what the impressions of our participants are!

- Izdavač
The winter of 2024 was marked by new Eco-Wednesday as part of the “Kornati – važno je o moru znati 8” project, funded by the Ministry of Science and Education of the republic of Croatia.

This non-formal education booklet contains descriptions of 10 workshops made by our ESC volunteer Juliette, aimed at children ages 5 to 8, and are designed to raise awareness about environmental issues.
We invite everyone working with children, who wish to explore ecological topics together with them, to use it.

“Sea Superheroes Range” is a fun – educational activity through which children learn about the powers of six sea superheroes in order to earn the title of superhero themselves, whose duty it is to protect the sea and the life in it.
Through it, children will learn information such as: how to sort waste, how many years it takes for individual waste to decompose, what diving equipment consists of, how to recognize if a periwinkle is alive, who to report, and the like.
Here we present a described activity that educates children and young people to love and care for the marine environment from an early age. We hope you will like it and find it useful!
The publication was created through the project “Eco flow to the Island” financed by the Fund for Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency.
- BRAND NEW FASHION TREND
- Izdavač
One of the focuses of our association is education from an early age using non formal teaching methods. This is exactly what we want to achieve with our action in the form of a comic that thematizes the problem of excessive consumption of clothes and the impact it has on the environment and people. The inspiration for this comic was the book No Logo, by Naomi Klein, which takes a look at how the power of brands has grown since the 1980s, and how companies have emphasized their brand image rather than their actual products. No Logo shows how this strategy has affected employees in both the industrial and the non-developed world.
Looking at pictures from Bangladesh and other countries where mass production of clothes is located, we must not turn a blind eye to the living and working conditions of these people, the damage that this mass production is doing to our planet, which is why it is extremely important to educate young people, especially teenagers, about what it really stands behind the word “brand”, then to make them aware of the damage, on different levels, to the environment and society due to the large consumerism of clothes, and finally to make them aware of what they themselves can do and what habits to change in order to reduce their personal ecological footprint on our planet.
The comic you can download here.
This publication was issued as part of the project eMUlzija – youth energy in the local community, and represents one of the ways of sustainability and preservation of the cultural heritage of Murter.
It contains old Murter words translated into the standard Croatian language and then into English in order to contribute to even more lovers of tradition and cultural heritage. It is short enough to be read with ease, yet comprehensive enough to present at least a fraction of this field.
Enjoy! 🙂

Blue Eco-patrol – manual for the implementation of the extracurricular educational program for sustainable development” was created as the end result of the pilot implementation of the Blue Eco-patrol educational program carried out in seven primary schools of Šibenik-Knin County in the period from December 2019 to December 2020, and in as part of the Blue Eco-Patrol project – an extracurricular educational program for sustainable development in the coastal and island local communities of Šibenik-Knin County intended for primary schools. The goal of all modules and associated educational activities is to encourage children to think critically and discover cause-and-effect relationships between human activities and the problems of the ecosystem in which we live so that children adopt new values, knowledge, and skills and form attitudes that will guide them towards a sustainable lifestyle and actions according to the principles of sustainable development and solving the challenges of the future that are still unknown to us. The Blue Eco-Patrol’s activities emphasize children as the main initiators of change and the main links that connect different members of the local community in promoting sustainable development and the concept of “think globally, act locally”.
