TIME FLIES.
It’s been another month since the last time I wrote on the blog. It’s amazing how fast time goes by and how many things I’ve experienced again…
The first big news is that I am no longer alone, Juliette has arrived. The truth is that we get along very well and luckily we complement each other very well, we are both very hippies and cheerful so for that part the laughs are assured at home. It’s funny, because he arrived and the first thing she did was to change my house completely and even now and then we walk down the street and she says “uh, look at that for home” hhahahahah recycling is in his veins, but no doubt she also brought color and joy.
Likewise, I have continued exploring Murter and the truth is that every day I fall more in love with this island. I have also been to Zagreb to see Petra and Boris, the truth is that the city is not very beautiful but the company makes it special. Petra’s family welcomed me very well from the first moment and they were very good hosts to tell the truth. I love the hospitality of Croatian people.
As for the work in Argonauta I have planned my personal project which is to create some Christmas workshops for children to have an alternative recreational option this winter. The truth is that I have enjoyed the process and I am looking forward to see the result.
On the other hand, I have participated in the On Arrival Training, which has been the highlight of this month without a doubt. It was five days in Orahovica, where we were with people from different countries. The group was very curious, as we were all very different from each other, but without a doubt the workshops we did taught us to work in a group, to accept the differences.
I had a great time there, from swimming in the pool to enjoying traditional Croatian food. We also enjoyed our free time walking in the forest, playing Twister and dancing in the evenings, as well as enjoying darts and live music in the bars. But without a doubt, the most magical night was when we saw snow and went out to play in the snow.
It has been two months since I arrived and the truth is that I think I have grown personally, I have improved my english, I have learned some Croatian and I have enjoyed the company knowing that at some point I would have to say goodbye.
Without a doubt it is a unique experience in which I am sure I will learn many things, for the time being, let’s wait and see what the next month has in store for us.
