2026 already\u2026 wow, how time flies! I want to say that I\u2019ve welcomed January with lots of excitement and affection.<\/p><p data-start=\"242\" data-end=\"538\">The start of the year was really good: I got to spend time with my family and friends, and I even took the chance to visit Jorge in Valencia, a friend I made during the <em data-start=\"430\" data-end=\"446\">youth exchange<\/em> I did in October. But I was able to make the most of that extra time with my family and friends, so it wasn\u2019t a big problem. And, although a bit late, I finally managed to get back.<\/p><p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1217\">The week after returning, I focused on finishing my university projects. Thanks to Naelys\u2019 help, I was able to complete the final assignment for one of my courses, filming a short movie on the island. It was a calm week, combining that with, of course, taking advantage of the beach. The week passed quickly, but soon we\u2019ll be off again.<\/p><p data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"1217\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-8.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-57192 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-8.png 1280w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-8-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-8-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-8-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-8-18x10.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p><p data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1709\">In mid-January, we finally got to do our <em data-start=\"1255\" data-end=\"1276\">on arrival training<\/em> in Sarajevo. We met several wonderful ESC volunteers from the Balkans (Serbia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia) and took part in various workshops to get to know each other. We had the opportunity to talk about our rights and responsibilities, as well as solidarity as volunteers. It was a very productive week, and we also had the chance to visit Sarajevo, a city full of charm, and the Children of War Museum, a museum that truly gives you goosebumps.<\/p><p data-start=\"1219\" data-end=\"1709\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-57191 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-9.png 1280w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-9-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-9-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-9-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fotos-para-el-blog-9-18x10.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p><p data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"2033\">After several hours on the FlixBus to return to Croatia, we had a 7-hour <em data-start=\"1784\" data-end=\"1793\">layover<\/em> and met some volunteers living in \u0160ibenik: Anna from Ukraine and Lina from Germany.
