It was a wonderful experience: first, because I loved the people we met; then, because we had amazing weather; and last but not least, because it was a great opportunity for me to discover training courses, understand how they differ from youth exchanges, and see their concrete impact. I also learned more specifically about the role and tasks of a youth leader in youth exchanges, which really sparked my interest, who knows, maybe I\u2019ll try to become one someday ;)<\/p><p data-start=\"231\" data-end=\"742\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-1-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57903 size-large\" srcset=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-1-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-1-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-1-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-1-18x10.png 18w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-1.png 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p><p data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"1234\">Then I had a personal project I had been working on since December, which I teased a little in previous blogs, but it ended up being impossible to realize, so I had to come up with a new one. It was in March, after the training course, that I finally got a new idea. I had to present it to the team, and this time I really think it will be possible! At least they liked the idea. But I won\u2019t say more here until they confirm 100% that it\u2019s feasible, just to avoid a big disappointment if it\u2019s not.<\/p><p data-start=\"1236\" data-end=\"1512\">On the 24th, we held our final workshop of the project <em data-start=\"1284\" data-end=\"1305\">Winter Full of Life<\/em>which started in February. Twice a week, we were running workshops with the kids on different topics, and although it could be a bit overwhelming at times, we had a lot of fun and got to know the island\u2019s kids: they\u2019re amazing!<\/p><p data-start=\"1514\" data-end=\"1763\">On a personal level, the time change boosted me a lot! Having daylight until 8 p.m ,and honestly, just having more sun in general, makes me so happy. The birds are singing, the trees are green, and the flowers are blooming; that\u2019s all I need to feel like everything is possible!<\/p><p data-start=\"1765\" data-end=\"2053\">That\u2019s why I got my ears pierced again, and with Ona, we finally found the strength to walk all around the island: 27 km of breathtaking views, calm spots, crystal-clear water\u2026 and omg, lot of pain in the ass lol. I don\u2019t know if I would do it again, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone mentally and physically ready.<\/p><p data-start=\"2055\" data-end=\"2277\">I also decided to try things I had never done before, so I created my own vlog one evening with Ona, and this wonderful communication queen approved it, saying: \u201cIt\u2019s funny.\u201d It\u2019s a good beginning no? \ud83d\ude05<\/p><p data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2482\">Anyway, it was a big month full of change, fun, motivation, and creativity, always in the best company. I think it couldn\u2019t have been better for our 6-month anniversary here on the island with Ona.<\/p><p data-start=\"2279\" data-end=\"2482\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-2-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57902 size-large\" srcset=\"https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-2-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-2-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-2-768x432.png 768w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-2-18x10.png 18w, https:\/\/argonauta.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Feb-3-2.png 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p><p data-start=\"2484\" data-end=\"2619\">Now that summer is just around the corner, I\u2019m really looking forward to what awaits us next month.
