Hi everyone, my name is Margareta and this is my first volunteering project abroad. With the help of Argonauta and Brujula I was able to come to Burgos, Spain and I hope to stay here for the whole year.

On my first day here I had the opportunity to be part of a workshop about bees and beekeeping. Even though the workshop was interesting on its own, the people here made this experience even better. Hope it will stay like that. Through September, the organization in which I am currently volunteering, Abrego, had organized various workshops concerning different themes, but this one really stood out.

Coming to another country whose language you are far from fluent has been challenging and will stay like that I am sure, but with the help of people here and the type of job I have that is everything but boring, I can certainly say an amazing year is in front of me. I just have to take it poco a poco as they say it.
