Christmas atmosphere.

We decided to see one place every Tuesday that we haven’t seen yet in our area! We started this wonderful month with an excursion to Monte Vico elvano.
The entire hike took a long time, but when we saw the view we forgot everything! Delighted by the view, we returned home tired but happy.
In the whole month we enjoyed advent in Sorrento and Napoli. Every city is different, but they are beautiful in their own way. We even got “stuck” in Naples and had to find accommodation at the last minute! But those are the real memories that bring a smile to your face.
On the second Monday of the month instead of working in the office we decided to have team building and play soccer! In the spirit of the world football championship. Hahaha, what a funny situation for me, but I tried and I even scored a goal! ⚽ Even though my body was hurting the next day I had videos of me running that made me laugh. 🤣
During the project, all volunteers need to plan a dinner (appetizer, main course and dessert) that is a tradition in their countries. This month we had a Portuguese dinner. We had a fantastic time! Along with the Portugal-Morocco football match, we made sausages (vegan and regular), cheered and cooked together. I tried so many different types of cheese!
Two days ago we were at my favorite place, which I had wanted to see since the beginning of the project! Valle delle ferriere in Amalfi. Definitely a different experience in Amalfi, not touristy at all. A beautiful place with a special ecosystem that we can’t find in many places. Known for the different types of ferns, one of which is a real living fossil! 🌿🌿
Different from the others in the way it reproduces! I recommend it to everyone.
In these last days of the month we are preparing to celebrate the new year in Rome! We bought tickets for 24 hours of techno and electro music. It takes us 2 and a half hours from Naples to Rome. We can not wait. I am especially looking forward to seeing Rome this Christmas season!
