Time Travel, Dolphins & Creativity in Tisno!.
On Wednesday, July 23rd, we brought the Adriatic Sea to life in a very special workshop at the Tisno Public Library — but with a twist! Instead of a classic lecture, we hosted a puppet play all about our beloved sea and the magical Roman ruins of Colentum.
The story followed a Roman girl who mysteriously appeared on the beach of Colentum in the year 2025. Confused but curious, she soon befriended a dolphin and the two set off on an unforgettable adventure to find her way home. Along the way, she discovered how much the world – and especially the sea – has changed… and not always for the better.
After the show, kids reflected on the difference between past and present, and then got hands-on by making their own sea puppets from reused toilet paper rolls. From colorful fish to wild sea creatures, their imaginations took over – all while learning about sustainability.
We hope this time-traveling adventure helped spark some reflection and inspire the next generation to care for the Adriatic Sea we’re lucky to witness every day 💙🌊
